How We Research

We rely directly on official developer documentation, release notes, and pricing pages. If a capability or price isn't explicitly documented by the developer or confirmed through our own testing, we list it as "Unknown" rather than making assumptions.

Pricing and "Free" Tools

Software is only labeled as "Free" if it has a permanent free tier or is entirely free to use without requiring paid libraries. Time-limited trials do not qualify. We always clearly list the restrictions of free tiers.

Fact-Checking

• Every product profile lists the exact sources we used.
• We state the specific software version/edition being described.
• We display a "Last Verified" date so you know how fresh the information is.

Hands-On Testing

We only claim to have tested software when we have actually used it. We do not invent review scores, pretend to have run benchmarks we didn't, or rewrite marketing material as personal experience.
